Vesta's Village is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Los Angeles, created for single moms, by single moms. We are building a safety net for single mothers — providing support, access to resources, and meaningful community connection.
The Vesta's Village docu-series was created to highlight the lived experiences of single mothers, including the unseen labor, strengths, and challenges we navigate — as well as moments of joy, connection, resilience, and growth.
Many single mothers are struggling financially, socially, and emotionally, often with very little support in any of these areas. This project aims to elevate our voices and draw attention to the systemic barriers and gaps that impact women, children, and society as a whole.

If you're a single mother with a story to share, we want to hear from you. We offer four different ways to participate — find the option that works best for you, then complete the consent form to get started.
In-Person Interview
Our team can come to your home with all necessary gear, or we can arrange filming at a safe public location. Several options are available throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Self-Recorded Video
We'll send you a video of our team asking questions. You record yourself responding at your own pace and send it back — from wherever you're most comfortable.
Self-Recorded & Submitted
We'll send you a document with instructions and interview questions. You follow the prompts, record yourself at your own pace, and send the video directly to our team.
Zoom Interview
We'll schedule a virtual interview with you and a member of our team. The session will be recorded and will serve as your docu-series submission.
